It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. Click the My Key link within the top toolbar and the YOUR ADAFRUIT IO KEY popup window will appear. Before we leave, we need to retrieve our account credentials that will be required for our sketch to access the system. Adafruit IO is now ready to interact with our Arduino board.
